Research-led teaching: Defining and Celebrating a Tradition Conference

The University of Kent are delighted to announce a forthcoming, free conference entitled ‘Research-led teaching: Defining and Celebrating a Tradition’ to be held at the University of Kent (Canterbury campus) on Wednesday 26th of February, 11am-7pm.

 

This conference will explore definitions of research-led teaching, showing examples of where it is used well, and stimulating attendees to better develop and articulate its value in their professional practice. For more details see https://research.kent.ac.uk/resledteach/call-for-papers/

 

Colleagues are welcome to attend for all or part of the day as desired.  Home and international colleagues who are unable to attend in person are welcome to present a pre-recorded presentation and/or participate via electronic means.

 

You are cordially invited submit a proposal of 250-500 words to resledteach@kent.ac.ukSubmissions are invited on any topic concerned with research-led teaching.  See the conference web page for an indicative list of topics and criteria for selection.  Note also that talks should be short (12-20 mins depending on numbers) and in a TED-style format. The use of PowerPoint is discouraged: no bullet points or stock images, please.
