As Covid-19 required educators to turn to digital technologies for the means to continue learning and teaching, the time for ripe for fresh thinking and approaches to researching blended and online education. This workshop is designed for early career researchers who would like to apply their skills to researching digital education. The concept of education technology as a discipline is contentious, and debates continue about the legitimacy of its research outputs. However, in recent years there have been interdisciplinary developments which have enriched and deepened the outputs. What is the terrain of scholarship in this area and how can your research find a place there? This interactive workshop will guide participants through finding and developing their voice in this exciting area.
