The se sessions are open and free for all to attend. S RHE aims to provide a platform to present the most stimulating and innovative research taking place in higher education studies and practice. The Newe r Researcher Network recognises the body of exciti ng research being undertaken by newer and early ca reer researchers and seeks to create a supportive space in which such researchers can present their work-in-progress\, receive feedback\, and develop connections with national and international peers. Peiyu Wang is a Teaching Assistant in the School of Educatio n at the University of Nottingham\, where she teac hes on BA Education programme. She holds a PhD in Learning Sciences from the University of Nottingha m and has a background in Cognitive and Educationa l Psychology. Her research focuses on designing in clusive learning environments through digital tech nologies to enhance student engagement in face-to- face\, multicultural higher education. Using Desig n-Based Research and mixed methods (quantitative a nd qualitative)\, Peiyu has examined whether anony mous interactions can increase students’ discussio n engagement in face-to-face seminars in UK univer sities. She is especially passionate about how res earch can be translated into practical pedagogical design principles that support lecturers in foste ring inclusive and engaging learning environments in UK higher education\, and beyond.

Jiawen Wu (MSc(Admin.)\, MSocSc\ , LLM)\, a doctoral researcher at the Jyväs kylä University School of Business and Economics\, University of Jyväskylä\, Finland. Drawing on a p rofessional background in the higher education sec tor\, Jiawen has previously served as an internati onal cooperation manager in China and an education export specialist in Finland. Furthermore\, Jiawe n is a graduate of MARIHE\, an Erasmus Mundus prog ramme dedicated to higher education research and i nnovation. Jiawen's research interests lie at the dynamic intersection of organization and instituti on within the higher education field. He has a str ong theoretical interest in institutional theory a nd classical pragmatism. Currently\, his doctoral research focuses on collaborative networks of inte rnationalization\, particularly examining how pilo t networks conduct global cooperation and inquire internationalization in the Finnish higher educati on context.
