Conference Registration Our 2011 conference delegate rates have been in line with the RPI and inflation increases in recognition of the financial pressures affecting higher education.

Additional items In addition to the inclusive packages the following items may be booked separately Conference Dinner Wednesday 8 December 2011 Include a three course meal prepared by award winning chefs at the Celtic Manor plus wine followed by dancing. Tickets £42 each. Accompanying Persons For Conference Delegates on the residential package wishing to be accompanied by a partner, sharing a double room but not attending the conference, a single additional fee has been negotiated which includes two nights accommodation sharing room with full paying participant, breakfast, lunches, teas and coffees, Welcome Reception. Accompanying Person Fee £175.00 Additional nights accommodation (December 5,6,9,10) £126 per night SRHE Membership Conference discounts Conference delegates who are not members of the Society can take advantage of a special discount membership offer and receive the benefit of SRHE member rates for the conference, SRHE discounts on all publications on sale at the conference plus a year’s membership of the Society.
Newer Researchers Conference 6 December 2011 One day conference plus optional half day (7 December) Include attendance on the day, lunch, refreshments throughout and an early evening drinks reception.
*Day Two (Wednesady) is planned to include workshops with leading academics and publishers in the field on getting published and accessing research funding, attendance at the opening keynote speech of the SRHE Annual Research Conference (ARC) and closing with lunch. Bursaries The Society has a small number of bursaries available of £100 to assist fulltime students to attend the SRHE Annual Research Conference and of £50 to assist Full time students attending the Postgraduate and Newer Researchers Conference. All applicants for bursaries must provide proof of their student status and complete a bursary application form available to download from the conference website.
