Effective chairing in online spaces

As we near the SRHE Conference 2022: Mobilities in Higher Education (click here to view) we would like to offer all Chairs an opportunity to run through and practice their role in advance of the event. 

This short session will be structured in two parts:

1. SRHE will clarify the role of Chairs at conference, share their tips and advice on best practice, and answer questions from delegates.
2. Chairs will have an opportunity to test audio and visual equipment and familiarise themselves with the platform (Zoom).

Those familiar with using Zoom for online presentations may wish to attend part 1 only.

Please note that patricipation in this session is entirely optional; it is designed to support those with less familiarity with Zoom and/or with chairing in virtual settings. Should you be interested in chairing a panel at the SRHE Conference but are unable to attend, you're very welcome to e-mail us on srhe@srhe.ac.uk to discuss chairing.
