This page is to register for the in-person days of the 2024 SRHE International Research Conference which take place Wednesday 4th - Friday 6th December 2024 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham, UK.

A separate booking is required to register for the online conference programme, taking place on Monday 2 December 2024 via Zoom. To register for the online day, please click here.

The in-person conference registration includes:

• All conference sessions over the 3 days, including poster exhibition.
• Wed 4th December: lunch, refreshments, evening drinks reception and evening buffet dinner.
• Thurs 5th December: lunch, refreshments and evening buffet dinner.
• Fri 6th December: refreshments and lunch.

Please note:

• Conference registration does not include accommodation - information about some options available is provided below.
• A limited number of subsidised places are available to SRHE student members. Please get in touch with the SRHE Team srhe@srhe.ac.uk to enquire.
• There are NO day rates; full registration fees apply regardless of time spent at the conference.

Please note that accommodation is not included with conference registration, but it is possible to book accommodation at the conference venue if you would like to do so; we advise you to book this as soon as possible as availability is limited. Getting to the venue

The conference will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Beeston Lane, University Park, Nottingham NG7 2RJ. Accommodation can be booked at the Orchard Hotel which is next door to the conference centre.

By train: the conference centre is approximately 4 miles away from Nottingham train station and only 2 miles from Beeston train station. The tram is accessible from both stations, which will take you directly to the university park campus. To plan your journey go to www.nationalrail.co.uk. Remember to book your tickets early to get cheaper prices. If you have a disability or need help go to www.disabledpersonsrailcard.co.uk to arrange support or see if you are eligible for a discounted rail card.

By tram: trams run every 7 minutes from key locations such as Nottingham City Centre and Nottingham Train Station. The University of Nottingham has 2 stops close by (university of Nottingham and University Boulevard) both are a short walk to the University Park campus.

By plane: the nearest airport is the East Midlands Airport which is approximately 14 miles from the conference centre. For more information go to www.eastmidlandsairport.com.

By car: the East Midlands Conference Centre is situated off the M1, JCT 25, 3 miles from Nottingham.

Parking is free onsite with the addition of 8 EV Electric charging points at the Orchard Hotel.
