With conference season on the horizon, this workshop will foster a supportive and focused atmosphere in which participants can make real progress on their writing goals. Whether writing an abstract, conference paper, or a section of a larger piece of work, this workshop will introduce helpful academic writing practices and a dedicated space for writing as a group in order to help participants produce approx. 500 words of writing towards their target. Participants will have the chance to experience first-hand the benefits of writing in a community of supportive, likeminded academic writers in higher education.
