EDI Working-Group Expressions of Interest

SRHE is committed to fostering an academic community and workplace culture that is diverse, inclusive and respectful, recognising that a dynamic mix of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives enrich the Society and its activities.

The Societyā€™s Strategic Plan (2024-2029) contains as a key objective: ā€œAccessibility: foregrounding equity, diversity and inclusionā€, and outlines several priority actions in emphasising EDI as integral to both research and practice within the Societyā€™s governance, activities, and membership.Ā

To support this work, SRHE invites expressions of interest from members to join our EDI Working Group. This group will consider the Societyā€™s structures and pursuits, provide guidance on the planā€™s priority actions, and provide a steer to trustees, committees, Society staff, and the Society membership more generally on how best to embed principles of EDI into Society governance, membership, and activities from both a UK and international perspective. Click here for more information on the group including its remit and scope, objectives and structure.

To express your interest in participating, please complete the short form below by 17 June 2024.
