Applications are now open for the 2026 Research & Scoping Awards.

The Society’s annual programme of funding opportunities supports and advances high-quality research into higher education:

• SRHE Member Awards (£10,000) for research focusing on any aspect of higher education under three overarching themes: Higher Education Policy, Higher Education and Society, and Higher Education Practice.
• Scoping Awards (£5,000) for the exploration of new or emerging areas of higher education research leading to the development of a plan for further research.

Deadline for submissions: 1 September 2026.
