Jeroen Huisman is professor of Higher Education Governance at Ghent University, Belgium. He previously worked at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (University of Twente, the Netherlands) and the University of Bath (United Kingdom). His research interests relate to higher education policy, governance, quality assurance, internationalization, organizational diversity, legitimacy and organizational identity. He is editor of Higher Education Policy and member of the Editorial (Advisory) Board of Studies in Higher Education, European Journal of Higher Education, Higher Education Research & Development, Journal of Studies in International Education, Tertiary Education and Management and the International Journal of Chinese Education. He was co-editor of the SRHE/Routledge Book Series Higher Education (2010-2020).
